We had a fantastic day with Elizabeth Graney last Saturday. It was a West Sussex Adult and Community Learning Service course on e-marketing. So we now understand the world of blogging, tweeting, Facebook, Linkedin, Hootsuite and much more. A very inspirational day, thank you Elizabeth, we came away feeling ready to start telling the world what we do and our ideas.
We have been mulling over for a few years the idea of making crafts to sell, so have now set some much needed goals, written a ‘to do’ list, booked some craft fairs, opened our Folksy shop and are now going to take the big step into the world of selling.
We also want to get women involved in the creative process, one that we find calming, relaxing and reflective. We hit on the idea of craft parties for women, a few hours of creativity with a group of friends can be a much needed distraction from daily life. We are working on some ideas, we have a few already, more will be added to the Parties page soon. If you want to host a party give us an email and we will book you in!
So lots to do, the list is calling. One of our goals is to update this blog at least once a week, so come back and check on our progress.
